Hello there, I’m Dr. Hillary Ammon

I founded the Center for Anxiety and Women’s Emotional Wellness to provide specialized, effective treatment to those struggling with anxiety and anyone who identifies as a woman.

After years of working within hospital settings, most recently at the University of Pennsylvania, I decided to take a bit of my own advice and live a life that better aligns with my values, by striking a balance of work and family life and creating this private practice.

I am passionate about working with women and clients with anxiety, both unique populations, and providing tailored-care and a virtual space to reflect, approach, problem-solve, and change.

In addition to founding CAWEW, I am an assistant professor within the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania.

A Bit About me:

My family includes a labrador, a corgi, and two cats. The months ending in “-ber” are when I experience the most joy. I have grown to become a Philadelphia Eagles fan thanks to my partner. I enjoy a good Homegoods find. I am passionate about my homemade lattes, but I have yet to master the latte art. I am one of those humans that has comfort T.V. shows and movies, and can recite them far too well!
