Therapy for Women
As someone that identifies as a woman, I noticed disparities and a lack of both empathy and understanding from my medical providers. This realization heavily influenced my decision to make space for woman-centered therapy within my practice. I work with teens, college students, parents whose role is the primary caretaker, and working professionals. While still evidence-based, therapy is tailored to meet your needs, as someone that identifies as a woman or birthing person.
After encountering struggles in my personal journey into parenthood, I decided to receive training through Postpoartum Support International (PSI) so that I could specialize in perinatal mental health. You may find that a place to process and problem-solve can be helpful if you are thinking about kids in your future, pregnant and preparing for parenthood, struggling with fertility issues or loss, recovering from a complicated birth, navigating the postpartum period, or you are a parent, juggling many responsibilities.
